Update to review: Lowering to 2 Stars after roughly 7 months.After a few months on the porch (Covered at all times by the roof) the wood has begun to split in multiple places. At this point, I have clamps on the table at different boards once or twice a month. I’m using wood glue to salvage as much as possible, but unfortunately, I don’t know how long this set will last long term. I’ve loved the table and chairs themselves, but seems to require a little too much work to keep it looking decent. I have treated the oil biweekly with oil to keep it in good shape but it seems the wood used is drying too much causing splits. Knowing what I know now, I may have opted out of this table.Overall pretty satisfied with the set. Almost didn’t buy because every review so far was someone receiving the product for free. I decided to try it out even though I don’t normally trust free reviews because I liked the idea of a nesting table because in winter I plan to cover the whole thing and also liked that I could shrink the table for just two people if need be. Quality seems good, no major scratches (look it’s shipping all in one box. Probably has a minor scratch or two, I won’t complain and they are far from noticeable.) Stain is consistent but as some of the reviews have said, it has a slight stick to it which will wear off. Chairs are as comfortable as solid wood chairs can be for both me and the girlfriend and sit well towards the table (I’m 6’2” while she is 5’3”). If it was on a perfectly flat service it would be completely level. Only downside is the table itself has one side with a fairly major split. It is an easy fix so I would rate it overall as a 4. So take this review as a legitimate review and from someone who actually paid for the product. If over time it degrades, I’ll update the review.

This set arrived extremely well packaged. There was no setup needed, just a lot of unpacking. The tables and chairs look great on my patio, and I like the option to fold down down the leaves and set it up with just 2 chair with the small table between them like an end table. The chairs are more comfortable than you might expect, but I'm sure there are also seat pads you can get to fit as well. Overall, I'm loving this set!

What a wonderful table + chairs.I have a small cabin and this table is perfect because when I am not using the chairs I can put it away in the middle of the table.Great quality.

Quality and price are good. Sitting directly with legs beneath table is rough because the structure for holding chairs is in the way.

I love the way this is made. The fact that you can nest the chairs under the table and fold the table as well. This is a great product for people with limited space

This set requires 2 people to move when it arrives as it's very heavy. The manufacturer packs it really well with a lot of styrofoam padding, plastic and tyvec ties. It took at least 30 minutes to free it from the box, pull out the styrofoam, cut off all the ties and pull off the plastic. Once the table set was exposed, it was a little work to free the chairs from where they were stored and folded underneath the table.I love that there is no assembly with this set. The chairs fold nicely and store easily under the table which is great for small patio areas where space is at a premium. The table has two parts that fold down to leave a small flat area exposed. The wood is smooth and there doesn't appear to be any dings or imperfections. I think this set will last a while with a little effort.One thing I didn't like was that the finish was slightly tacky/sticky. I didn't have any residue on my hand but the wood felt a bit damp in places. Despite being damp, there was no offensive odor. The finish isn't shiny or very noticeable.This set is sturdy. Nothing wobbles or seems out of level. The seat is comfortable for my short frame.For the price of this set, I think it's an affordable choice that you may not be able to find in local stores.

This is a great small table that is easily put aside and out of the way. It reminds me of a small IKEA (indoor) table I have; it's that clever of a design. It is small, be warned. Take a look at how the seats are -- you can't sit on the sides, but only at the corners. No big deal. The wood is sturdy, solid, and looks great. I live in the hot southwest and am worried about sun damage, so quickly made a sunbrella cover for it and it functions as a side table when not used as a full on table.
