It don’t turn your hair purple. Keeps the silver brighter. But don’t use every day. It will strip the oil out. And dry your hair. Use a good conditioner with it

I recently let my hair go gray. I occasionally use a purple shampoo. This one leaves a silvery sheen, has a nice fragrance, and adds body. I really recommend it.

Have been using this product for years/cannot buy in stores in my area. I get many compliments on my very white hair and what brand I use Thank you for on line availability. Just a little story-went to a Billy Joel concert in March, my son in law said my hair was like a neon light ,had no trouble finding our seats among the 36,000 spectators.

I was looking for a lower cost alternative to the high end purple shampoo I had been using for about a year. Wanted a volumizing, purple shampoo that highlighted my silver hair and prevented yellowing. On my first use I noticed the color of the shampoo is an opalescent lavender not the saturated purple I had previously been using. Upon massaging into my hair the shampoo turned to a white lather. I was hoping that despite the fact that the product was not purple and turned white on use, it would still prevent the yellowing/brassiness. No such luck. Unfortunately this shampoo is no better than any generic low end shampoo I could buy in a drug store for far less than I paid.
