Squirrel Brand Ruby Royale Premium, Snack Mix, 18 Oz

I was looking for a trail mix that was similar to a black and white mix that “Shmarget” carries when Ruby Royale was suggested at the top of the others. I was interested, and bought it after looking at a few reviews, all praising how good it was.Between when I placed my order and when I received it, (which was less than 24 hours) I spent time reading many more reviews about the taste and quality of this mix. There are miles and miles of scrolling with nothing but 5 star reviews, and every single one of them is well deserved.It’s safe to say I won’t be buying trail mix in store ever again because this Ruby Royale is all that I need. The ruby cacao is bright and light, it’s not a cloyingly sweet flavor at all. You can really feel the quality of the almonds and pistachios on the bites.I didn’t realize there was that much of a difference compared to what you can buy at the store, but there is!Go ahead and buy at least 2 if you can, as my only complaint is that the can isn’t endless! A few handfuls right when you get it and half the can is gone.

I bought this because I had never tasted "ruby" chocolate! I was curious. The container is very pretty. The mix is like a "trail mix". Ruby chocolate for those that don't know has a "citrus" flavor to it! Almost like someone took white chocolate and added droppers of red grapefruit and orange to it. Since it's like a trail mix the only " ruby " covered pieces are scattered as if you bought a trail mix with yogurt covered raisins. They are there but just a piece of the mix. I have bought twice. So would recommend! I guess it's a fun way to try Ruby chocolate for the first time. My son didn't care for it (only because he's a kid and just saw the word chocolate) but being a mix I could just take out the ruby part for him and still enjoy the mix for those that did like the (ruby part) so everyone's happy! I think this would totally be giftable in a basket!

The first time I had encountered this product was through Sam's Club. It was some thing they brought in for the Christmas season with all the other special goodies. I decided to grab it to see who all liked it and come to find out that my bf's dad being the picky eater he is loved it. I took note of this as it is really hard to shop for him. Christmas 2023 came around I was having a hard time thinking of anything so I have possible gift lists for everyone. I saw this item on the list and couldn't find it at Sam's Club so online was my only choice. Amazon had the best price and I could not find it anywhere else at the time. It came fast, sealed and fresh. I honestly love this stuff myself and would say this makes a great gift.

I hope they make some more it's my go to snack , I love them sooooo much. Maybe for the Holidays they'll be back in stock as it seems I may have gotten the last order. I'll be on the lookout on OVC or HSN also.

Honestly reading all the great reviews made me purchase these pricey nuts. I had to see for myself and I must say you guys were not lying or exaggerating! Love at first crunch! This is my favorite snack now. I have to portion it out or I could easily finish off the can in one or two sittings. I will not be sharing these!!!! Buy them, you'll love them.I wrote that review on a sticky note at work. I have to add to it. Ok so I'm reducing and exercising I've lost 55 lbs since September and I'm an older person so it's not as easy to lose lbs as it use to be. I eat whatever I want I just portion. I was doing awesome all week with portioning my new favorite snack and then the weekend came and this happened (look at picture) so I can't eat these for awhile. They are waaaay to yummy to have in my cabinet. :(

As someone who actually isn't a big fan of raisins, I have to say, this mix with the cranberry raisins is really quite lovely. It's impressive in that, not only is everything in it very tasty individually (the slight fruitiness of the ruby chocolate pairs really well with the almonds, likewise with the yogurt on the cranberries, and the nice pistachios) but everything also works very well together, in any combination, and is well distributed throughout the container. The only downside for me is that it is pretty pricey. That said, I'll probably pick up a can here and there. If it were a bit more cost effective, I'd call this my new go-to snack food.

I liked the ruby chocolate coated almonds but that’s the only part of the mix that I enjoyed.I love pistachios but the loose ones in this mix are flavorless and stale. Some still have crunch but are no where near the quality of pistachios sold on their own by pretty much every brand I’ve had.The coated cranberries are interesting but I don’t care for them much. The coating is very sweet without flavor.Some reviews claim this item is too expensive but at the $10-13 price point I’ve seen it at it makes sense. I won’t repurchase this item but this brand does make another product I’ve bought multiple times.

I ordered 2 of these a while back. When I discovered they're no longer available, I couldn't think of anything else to buy. I truly hope these come back SOON. Delicious and more healthy than most snacks.
