CIVIVIPocket Folding Knife with 3.47" 14C28N Blade Micarta Handle, Button Lock Elementum Knife for EDC C2103D (Brown)

I've ignored the brand for some time now only to recently try one. Now I own several and can't say enough about them. The fit and finish on them has been spotless. The blades are all perfectly centered. The locks hold the blades just tight enough for no perceptible blade wobble and yet the blades all snap open with authority. And they have all come paper slicing sharp. The cherry on the sundae is the button lock models. There's just enough tension to be able to thumb the button to release and the blade can be made to wrist flick right open and closed again. Each new Civivi has been a joy to hold and new favorite. It's hard to call the EDC when I keep changing out which one I carry each day!

I have the brown micarta. Its very slicey. I used my Lansky to put a new edge at 17* and I have been very happy with it. I did have to spend hours operating it before it got smooth. Then it got smooth. So smooth. I got better at operating it and realized that I could easily do it single handedly with my left. Glad I found such a useful and capable knife.

I’ve been carrying the brown micarta button lock elementum for a week and a half. The micarta handle has turned white for some reason. The knife came delivered sharp out of the box. The action was a little sticky at first, but it now opens and closes smoothly after using it. The knife has nice gimping on the blade and the handle is comfortable. I have used it as an edc knife to open packages and cut boxes and cardboard. It handles these tasks with ease. My only gripe is the discoloration of the handle. If I wanted a knife with a white handle I’d buy a knife with a white handle. The micarta on this knife is defective.

I Love Civiv knives great out of the box long lasting and many good designs i have 9 knives that they make every one was sharp out of the box and holds a great edge

Awesome knife with a super smooth action

I purchased this along with the CIVIVI Vision FG folding knife to test out for business casual EDC. At first, I liked the slim profile of this knife, but it doesn't open as fast and clean as the FG. I'm sure this is a great knife that plenty of people will love. It's just not for me.

a compact. the eject button - is a reason why i got it. it's safe. the other razor release mechanisms are just stupidly unsafe.

Impressed,for the price point very nice edc pocket knife. The fit and finish is 80%+The blade sounds very tin sounding when closing, though the blade is very sharp and a nice shape.Nice knife,Erik
