My husband loves his new pillow!
I have had one of these pillows for a couple of years. My husband finally decided he wanted one of his own, since I don’t let him steal mine. Ever since he’s been using it he has not complained of neck or shoulder pain anymore. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it will not stay in a conventional pillow case. I am going to switch to zipper pillow cases so we do to have to struggle keeping it inside a Normal pillow case any more.

Worth it!
This pillow did a good job of relieving and supporting the tense muscles in my neck. By fixing my posture it helped in improving my sleep. I definitely recommend this pillow.

So far, so good.
I just unpackages a few nights ago, and finally used it after letting it sit for a few days. It didn't have a bad odor, and so far was very comfortable and was the first few nights I woke up in two weeks without neck pain. Ultimately, I don't think it is going to be a great pillow for side sleepers, which I am. Unfortunately, likely due to breathing issues, I tend to sleep on my back in the middle of the night. I think that's why this has worked well for me. I am not sure about the company though. I "won" a prize, and all I had to do was email them. When I did that, I was told my prize would be awarded once I left a review. I don't think that's an appropriate use of the review system, in my opinion.

THE ONLY PILLOW THAT WORKS
I bought this pillow two years ago. One of countless pillows I’ve tried and thrown away over the years. I have tried more pillows to help with my neck pain and headaches. Suddenly I realized that I’ve been using the pillow for some time. And no neck pain so I check. Two years. A literal record. I bought a second for our RV. This pillowHas been a miracle for me.

Great, if you're single...!
This pillow is designed with a very specific sleep portfolio in mind. If you are single and sleep alone, it works well, as you basically remain in the same place and simply roll back and forth. However, if you are either a very 'active sleeper,' (read: a thrasher-about), or sleep with anyone else, it can be a bit of a double-edged sword. While the pillow is designed to sleep on one's side at the edges, it naturally draws one's head back into the sunken well in the center. If you are trying to curl up against someone (or vice versa), it makes for an uncomfortably craned neck, which will invariably happen as you sleep, so you wake with unnecessary neck pain. I will note that, laying alone in bed after my wife gets up and goes to prep for work, the pillow is quite comfortable, so it's not a total loss, but having come from using one of the standard foam pillows, which are of uniform cross-section all the way end-to-end, this is not the same sleeping experience! Caveat emptor on that one, kiddies.

Good night sleep
I purchased this for myself because I'm a side sleeper and I have been waking up with horrible neck pains. I've had what I thought was a good pillow for 2 years but it's now just giving me pain. I purchased a bamboo one and a serta one hoping to help, but it's so hard or higher that it's uncomfortable to sleep in and I'm just in the same pain. This let's me sink in better and keeps me in a better position through the night that I don't wake up with pain. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and I can say.... I found a keeper. Also, love that it blends will with my other pillows.

A nice relief at the end of the day
Chronic neck pain is an issue for me, and I needed to find a solution for better sleep. The irony here is that poor sleep makes my trouble areas flare up and hurt more, and the pain causes more sleepless nights. I tried this pillow on a whim because I already tried a bunch of other things, so why not, right? I'm glad I did, because from the first night, it made a remarkable difference. As you can see from my photographs, it fits comfortably into a queen sized pillow case, which was a concern of mine, because some of the other pillows I tried required much larger pillow cases! I was also a little skeptical about the memory foam aspect of it; I've tried memory foam pillows in the past, and they didn't really help me. While the pillow is made of foam, it's not the squishy kind of memory foam, so it does offer a lot of good support around my neck. There are two ends to this pillow: a higher side for side sleepers (the higher edge accommodates your shoulder height, so it can comfortably go where shoulders go), and a lower side for back sleepers. Both ends provide excellent neck support and do a great job of alleviating the weight of the head from the cervical spine. As for the questions about how it works for side sleepers; as a side sleeper myself, I find it very comfortable. No, you don't have to always be in the center of the pillow, however, if you're in your back and want to rest your head to the side, the center is quite nice for that.Overall, I'd say this pillow has definitely improved my quality of sleep which, in the long run, reduces the amount of pain medication I need to take, and to me, that's a really good thing.

Very good pillow
The only complaint I have is it should be a little bit thicker.

It actually works!
I ordered this skeptically, but my neck and ear pain has been so bothersome and my sleep so erratic that I finally caved. I tried magnesium for better sleep, I tried CBD, none of it was working. I've slept with this pillow for three nights and they're the best night's sleep I've had in almost a year. The first night it took me a while to settle down and get used to the pillow. I'm a side/stomach sleeper and am used to having one arm under a pillow while using the other to mold the pillow to me, but that was truly screwing up my neck and shoulder. I wasn't sure how to sleep on this pillow. Laying on my back was very comfortable, but not how I normally fall asleep, so it felt strange. Lying on my side, putting one arm under the pillow felt strange. Once I finally did fall asleep, it was a deep sleep. I didn't wake up with an earache. I woke up in the morning without any neck or shoulder pain.Since that first night, it's been easier and faster to find the position I want to fall asleep in on my side. I'm getting used to it, and the earaches and shoulder and neck pain haven't returned. I'm truly amazed!I'm also shaking my head because I've needed a contoured pillow between my legs for my hip/back for years. I can't believe I need all of these accessories for sleep at 34, but I can't argue with the fact that they work!

Neck cradle not good for side sleepers--even tall adults.
I bought this pillow because the product description says it is a "side-sleeper" pillow. I am a side sleeper, and I had been having neck issues that I suspect were related to my old pillow being too soft. This pillow did not help, and made it difficult to sleep because I could not find a comfortable position on it no matter which way I turned the pillow. I find that the pillow's neck cradle protrudes out too far, and so my head cannot actually reach the hole in the middle that is designed to relieve the pressure from your head. The top edge and bottom edge have slightly different proportions, so I think they expect that you can turn the pillow to get a better fit, but neither side worked for me. I even tried angling the pillow diagonally and still no luck. No matter what I do, my ear ends up resting in the neck cradle in an extremely awkward and uncomfortable way. (I'll note that if I turn on my back, the pillow feels great and gives lots of support, but I don't sleep on my back, which is why I bought a pillow labeled as a side sleeper pillow.)I then gave the pillow to my husband, who is also a side sleeper and is much taller than I am, so I thought it might fit him better. He complained about the same thing. He is over 6 feet tall and has large proportions, and he said that the neck cradles on both the top and bottom of the pillow prevent his head from comfortably reaching any part of the depression meant for the head.TLDR -- The pillow seems like it would be great for people who sleep on their backs, but I doubt that it was really designed for side sleepers. Maybe they sent me the wrong one?

Alleviated my pain and improved my sleep patterns
I was really surprised at how much about my sleeping experience changed because of this pillow.I was waking up every day with a stiff neck, tight chest and tight shoulders, no matter how perfectly I thought I'd gotten my pillow positioning. It just wasn't enough support. Every day I would fight intense shoulder pain, trying to massage it out or stretch it out to no avail. I thought this was due to stress. With this pillow, my severe shoulder pain is now greatly reduced, and I have minimal tension in my neck, although there's still some.I also used to wake up routinely to go to the bathroom at night, at least once or twice or night, whenever I would would up to turn over and my body would think "Oh, it's time to go!!". Rarely, I'd make it 7 hours without getting up, and this, too, I thought was just something I'd have to live with. Now, I'm waking up less at night because my body is more comfortable on this pillow, so I sleep longer without tossing and turning, and therefore wake up less and get out of bed less. When I do wake up for the day, I'm not as stiff and pained, which was previously a chronic problem for me.I also recommend pairing this with a body pillow to support your top knee and arm. Makes me sleep like a baby and feels very relaxing and comfortable.

Much better than i expected
I've been using the pillow on top for about 10 years. It's similar to the "best sellers", works fine, but it's showing signs of aging and more importantly i am having snoring problems. The newer design with the cervical support such as this product and others really does make a big difference. Some of my immidiate observations:1. compared to the one side style, the two sides style gives works much better. Sleeping on my back, I feel uncomfortable on the high side, but the low side fits me a lot better. I would say, unless you know what you want, the two sides ones is much better choice.2. Unexpectedly great for side sleep as well. I side sleep/watch tablet on either side of the pillow, instead of in the middle as the picture shows. Thick and tall foam not only is better for my ears, also my head is straighter.3. I don't know about other current foam pillows, but my old one gets hot after a while sleeping on it. This particular product is instead a little cooling, something i didn't expect.I got it for $44, a bit more pricey than the best sellses. Best i think the high/low side design works out better for me. Obviously, i also can't comments on its longevity at the moment. Another thing i would want is to include one extra pillow case. The case feels soft, I doubt i can find replacement easily once it breaks.

Stiff, Sore Neck Relief
I came across cervicogenic pillows as an option for increasing pain while sleeping. I used to sleep on my back easily, but broke my tailbone in a fall a couple years ago and had switched to sleeping on my side and stomach. The change in position started to create terrible neck pain that resulted in a few sleepless nights, so I ended up ordering this pillow to see if it would relieve some of the soreness.Oh my god. I guess I was really not sleeping fully for a while. Two nights on it already and I've slept the whole 8 hours each time with almost no movement during the night. My neck feels normal and I have full range of movement (previously, I was starting to have difficulty turning my head quickly or tilting it). It's supportive, but not driving my neck up in all three positions. It stays cool (which feels wonderful) and fits a standard size pillowcase (though it comes with a cover that is soft and washable if needed). If you are experiencing noticeable neck pain after sleeping, it's worth it to give these pillows a try. My main reason for picking IKSTAR was aesthetic, but I'm glad I did. Foam feels high quality and heavy, I do actually like the color palette of the cover, and they don't feel too small for my height (5' 8").Looking forward to the future of sleeping normally.

This pillow has been my hero!
I LOVE this pillow! I was having horrible neck pain everyday! I was miserable all the time. It was causing me to have migraines alot. I had tried so many different things just trying to get some relief. I have 20 pillows on my bed from all of the different brands I had tried. I had used everything from memory foam to my pillow with no results. I was hesitant about spending such money on this pillow because I was afraid it would be just like the others. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try & I'm thankful I did. Before this pillow I was on pain level 9 out of 10 every day. Since sleeping on this pillow, it has changed my life! The first week I was still having pain but it was probably a 6 out of 10. Now I've slept on it for 2 months & I'm at a pain level of 3. I sleep through the night, I don't wake up with cricks in the morning. This will be the only brand of pillow that I will by from now on. I love it & I'm forever grateful to have my life back again!

Great Pillow
So, I went back to my order history to find the info on this pillow because my boyfriend was talking about getting a new pillow. I have had this pillow for more than a year and it is still in the same shape I got it in. I used to wake up with a lot of shoulder and neck pain, plus I sit at a desk all day working so that didn't help. But I no longer wake up in pain. I am a side sleeper most of the time, but often wake up on my back. I read some reviews stating the company was reaching out to customers offering 20 dollar gift card for reviews. I received no such email or compensation and it makes me sad that the company is doing this, that is poor practice, however I would but this again, not necessarily to support this particular business, but because it has really helped me a lot. I was very skeptical, but it works. Hope this helps someone else make this decision. Sweet dreams.
