Good product, super service
I bought two LD Remanufactured Replacement Ink Cartridges, one magenta, the other yellow at a great price on Amazon Prime. I had them both in hand within a couple of days, but didn't use them immediately as my HP Ink Jet was apparently crying wolf about needing ink. It was a lo-o-n-ng time before the Yellow cartridge ran out and I still haven't needed to install the Magenta cartridge it warned me about ssome months ago. When I inserted the Yellow cartridge it didn't seem to snap easily into position, but worked alright--for some time. Then my printer suddenly announced that it was either no longer there or was defective. I took it out and put it back in. It again worked fine, for awhile, but then again went missing. I reinstalled it several times untilit refused to work at all.I e-mailed LD and got an e-mail back within half a day, with instructions to try a simple definitive test. I did and e-mailed the results to LD. They instantly made arrangements for an immediate replacement and postpaid return of the defective cartridge. All quick and simple. The rep at LD gave me great treatment and personalized service.I will happily buy from them through Amazon again. The way I see it, I can hardly afford not to.

I was worried the printer wouldn't accept this ink but it did just fine and it saved me $$

Seems to work OK
I have always bought original HP cartridges for the two HP Officejet Pros that have served me well for the last ten years. However, I am considering replacing my current HP8500A with a newer model and thought I would try the option of a remanufactured cartridge. When I loaded the new cartridge I got a message that this was not an original HP cartridge and that the printer needed to clean the print heads because of "damage" caused by this. In the week since that happened the printer seems to be working just fine. I have not noticed any difference in the color, however, I have not done any graphic intensive printing or photos since the installation. So far, I am happy with my purchase and I will be monitoring how long this cartridge lasts in comparison with the originals.

Get these! Great deal. Works great. No nasty messages from the printer.
I usually refill my cartridges with my bulk ink. But the 4 color cartridges that I have for my HP 8500A have microchips with expired dates. Also the microchips have the embedded info that the ink is depleted. So I can't refill the HP, OEM cartridges and use them normally. These LD Remanufactured Replacements are great so far. The people at LD replaced the microchip with a new microchip. So when I installed them into my printer, I don't get a message that they are expired or depleted. I do get a message that they are not Super Expensive HP Cartridges. The message that I get merely states they are off brand.I installed them and they worked right off the bat! So far I have only replaced the black and yellow cartridges. When the time comes I will replace the Cyan and Magenta cartridges with LD Remanufactured Replacements. These LD cartridges also are "XL"... with huge reservoirs. I suspect they will last several months before they need replacement.LD's price vs. HP's price are really low. HP just really rips you off on replacement cartridges. But that is the nature of cartridges and printers. Printers are relatively cheap for what they do, but the cartridges are very expensive to replace. HP makes the profit on cartridges not on the printer machine.

It may pop out on its own
I really like the idea of a remanufatured ink cartridges because I can buy all four colors (black, cyan, yellow, and magenta) for less than 1 genuine HP cartridge. In addition to the cost savings, I have found the quality and longevity to be so close to HP I can't tell a difference. That being said, I only give this 3 stars because the cartridge kept popping out and thus making printing virtually impossible. I called LD and they sent out a replacement which has been problem free. I have also purchased these types of cartridges from ESTON and had zero issues. Although I finally got a working cartridge and their customer service (LD) was very helpful, I will not be buying any of their products in the future because why buy a potential problem when I can get the same quality but problem free elsewhere.

HP replaceable ink
Not worth the money, nor the printer, I ended up giving up the printer for free to a friend and the ink... ink was costly and didnt sync with the printer, there is a chip in the ink cartridge that does not read with the printer, the printer will think its low on ink when I just replace it with a new one, I ended up giving up after 6 years with HP

Works (I think)
These cartridges work just like the expensive HP ones--they're just refilled, relabeled, and resold by LD Products. I can't think of any reason to pay full price again! If it stops printing any particular color at all, check your printhead. It's probably not the print cartridge's fault. The 940 printheads are horribly designed and take in air instead of ink sometimes. I researched the issue and found a kit elsewhere that reinjects ink into the printhead, for a fraction of the cost of a new printhead. I've had this issue repeatedly with the yellow, but I've had this printer for years before it happened. I'd get a new printhead if it weren't so expensive and didn't come with the same inherent design flaw the old one had.

... you install the cartridge but the printer works just fine and print with no issues
You will get a non HP ink massage from your printer after you install the cartridge but the printer works just fine and print with no issues. The printer also shows the ink level, so everything works like HP ink but you save over 65%. Hopefully people at HP will get the massage that it is not reasonable to ask customer to pay same price as new printer to buy a set of ink cartridge.
