Good little filter
I am impressed with this filter and is a good addition to my set up.If you would like a filter that hangs onto the tank but you cannot have a filter like that because you have to have a lid on the tank or you haven't got space for an out of tank filter then this filter is a good compromise. The filter comes with 3 stages of filtration and I must admit I find them fiddly to get into the filter but once set up it seems to work well. I will be changing the media eventually as there is plenty of room in the body of the filter to customise it in whatever way you want to with the only limitation being the weight as the filter is held on with suction cups however these suction cups have a strong hold and as yet I have not had the filter move at all.You can have the filter located as high or low to the water level that suits your set up and the higher it is the more air it will create due the waterfall style return. The maintainance of the filter is easy to carry out and takes only a matter of minutes which is due to the cartridges that the media comes in.Although I have felt the filter is a little fiddly to set up it could be because I have mobility issues with my hands, I do feel this filter is a great addition to my set up and have already recommended it my son, it has a good flow and has stayed where I put it, it is easy to clean and you have the option to customise.

Perfect
Had the same one in the past but upgraded my tank to a 160l so needed a bigger one. So stupidly threw it away. Now I have downsized and need this again. And has not let me down twice now. Simple set up with a smart placement of the fan so doesn't get clogged. Nice and quiet can't go wrong with this item

Very good
Nice size, good filtration, silent. Lacks ceramic media, so everytime you replace the media you lose bacteria.

Perfect design
I have 3 of these now in each of my 64 litre tanks. Reason being that they are super quiet and excellent to customise, as an alternative to use their cartridges. Unlike another reviewer who used the 'pimp my filter' method of customisation to achieve better results, in my opinion, I have discovered that the manufacturers own cartridge system works better for crystal clear water, after trying both optionsOf course Interpet want you to buy their replacement cartridges which can make it expensive year on year, but the great thing about this filter is that you have the option to rearrange the media which works for you.My customisation stacked design is a course sponge, thin layer of floss, Matrix, then charcoal. However, I would suggest using the cartridges and take a picture of your tank after say, after a week. Then, when the cartridges need to be replace, customise it, take a picture a week later and compare the two. All other tank factors being equal, I think you will find water clarity with cartridges is notably better. It surprised me, although I'll carry on using both methods for my own reasons. With either method, I think you will be pushed to whether or not, you would acheive full nitrogen cycle in 64 litres, but responsible fish keepers would control unwanted elements with water changes anyway.I achieve average 10ppm nitrate. I also have a sponge filter in my tanks for aeration and taking care of the lower level water column.I can recommend this filter without hesitiation. Its quiet, excellent flow rate, customisable, good quality, 'does what it says on the tin'

Great Quality Filter
Reliable filter that's perfect for oxygenating the tank and keeping it clean. Also very easy to do maintenance on and very simple to set up. The current is also not too strong so it won't blow your fish around however they do love to swim against the gentle current that it lets out. I haven't had any issues with the filter after running it for a few months.

Disappointed
The media could not be loaded. I bought two of these filters for my tank. I had purchased new plastic plants and new gravel new led lighting so my set up was fresh and clean. I have been on holiday for 6 nights and this is what I have returned to. A filthy fish tank. I am so disappointed with this the filters just haven't lived up to there promise. Not impressed at all

It's okay but......
The product is nicely made but ......If you use the plastic hanger rather than the suction pads beware the attachment between the pump body and the attachment of the tank hanger is pathetic it doesn't make a solid connection the pump constantly falls off sending the pump into the tank.Beware!
