Reassuringly solid and well made
Not being a teenager anymore, I am not as brave as I used to be. I needed something to help me paint the stairwell, and I chose this. It is reassuringly solid. I was surprised by just how well it is made. The metal used is pretty hefty but not heavy. The platform is wide and did not flex with my 105 kg on it. The rungs on the ladder are wide. I felt safe on it and easily got the task completed. Overall, I am giving it five stars as it is good quality and exactly as described.However, there are some issues, but I don't think they affect the rating of the product. Just things to be aware of. Firstly, the packaging is not good. It comes shrink wrapped in a heavy wrap. The couriers tear it easily and the safety and connecting bars can easily slide out. Check it when it arrives. As others have said the stability bars are too wide for standard stairs. Not everyone has a Hollywood staircase like in the pictures. I had to use it without these in place. The instructions say that narrower bars are available. Not sure where from. Finally, our stairs are quite steep, which resulted in the offset, lowest step to highest step which is controlled by the length of the platform, being too much. It was not possible to assemble the platform as it should be. I had to be creative to make it work, but I managed it safely.As always, one product will not be the right tool for every application. But this is a good product that is flexible in its potential uses. I'm looking forward to cutting my tall hedge this summer standing on this platform rather than balancing on a wobbly stepladder.

Really useful ladder
I had a missing part and a problem with another part. Customer service was brilliant: fast, efficient and polite. It would be good if the supports on the bottom weren't so wide as it won't fit on our stairs but I got this for cutting the hedge so it isn't an issue.

Very easy to erect
This product is great for ease of use putting it up and down is so easy. the main problem with it is the stabilising feet for the ladders are too wide for stair cases. i had to use it with out the feet to decorate my staircase and that made it a bit wobbly.
