Amazing performance and ultra fast internet speed - No more internet issues
I recently received the eero MAX 7 as a gift for my birthday, and it has been a game-changer. Earlier this year, I had purchased the eero pro 6e (2 units), which I was already quite happy with. However, I noticed that my mother needed one, so I gave her my eero pro 6e and got the eero MAX 7 for my apartment. Ever since I started using it, I have been blown away by its incredible performance. The download speed has increased from 981 MB to 1.3 Gig, and I no longer have to worry about my work video calls dropping like they did before. I used to think that the network service in my area was the problem, but it turned out that the many routers in the building and the interference from all the devices using the 2.4 GHz band were causing the issue. Now, I can work from home with great internet bandwidth without any interruption, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Although the eero MAX 7 is expensive, it's worth every penny in my opinion. You’ll see on the pics posted my download speed increased from 983 MB with eero pro 6e to 1.31 G with Euro MAX 7!!!Update: Dec 5, 2023I recently purchased the new eero Max 7 mesh router, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. Not only am I experiencing faster speeds compared to my previous router, but the coverage it provides is simply outstanding. In fact, I was so impressed that I decided to get a second unit last week to ensure exceptional coverage throughout my entire living space. One of the standout features of the eero Max 7 is its ability to consistently deliver a reliable internet connection. Even in a building where numerous routers and devices cause interference, I haven't experienced any lags or connectivity issues. This is a game-changer for me, as I heavily rely on a stable internet connection for both work and leisure activities.Setting up the second eero Max 7 was a breeze, thanks to its intuitive and user-friendly interface and application. The mesh network seamlessly blankets my home, eliminating any dead spots and ensuring a consistent signal strength across all corners. I can now enjoy fast and uninterrupted internet access no matter where I am in the house. The eero Max 7 has truly transformed my internet experience. It's a high-performing mesh router that delivers on its promises of faster speeds and excellent coverage. If you're looking for a reliable and hassle-free solution to your connectivity needs, I highly recommend giving the eero Max 7 a try. You won't be disappointed.

This Eero 7 Max is a heavy hitter and well worth the price.
This 7 Max is vastly more capable than the Eero Pro it replaced! This new unit functions as my gateway router in my mesh network. it’s superior range and processing power has significantly improved my entire network. The set up was about as easy as it could be. I only had to select the replace function which simply swapped out my old router for the new one on the Eero app. I did have to get with technical support from my Internet provider so that they could switch the IP address over to the new seven max. After conducting speed test on various devices in different places throughout the house, the download speeds improved between three and four times to what they were before. My iPhone and iPad were actually registering more speed than my provider was claiming to give. I could even get a reliable signal down at our barn and was able to listen to music while I was working out there.

Easy Setup
Works as advertised. Super fast. Wide coverage. Worthwhile upgrade. Compatible with existing eero 6. Upgraded from Pro 6 to Max 7 for my gateway. Super easy setup. Followed instructions on the app. Pretty much plug and play easy. Took less than 10 minutes total to set up and wait for eero to identify and connect to network.

A Nightmare Transferring Devices
EDIT ... lowered to 1 Star. After spending a bunch of time entering the names, and locations, of all my Echo Devices. Woke up one morning and Eero (Alexa?) had renamed them to generic 'Echo Dot' and added 'NEW". Totally wasted my time. Recently, I can no longer add any new 2.4G Devices. If I try turning Off the 5G, my phone will no longer connect ('Can not get IP Address', 'Connected with no internet', 'Internet not available', etc). Once the 10 minutes is up, my phone connects. Never have had such problems with a Router in my life. Wish I never bought it!!!!-------------I own the Samsung Connect Home Pro Mesh Router. I have been relatively happy with it. My home is entirely Smart. I have well over 200 Devices (Smart Bulbs to Major Appliances). Not all of them are always Online. The most the Samsung Mesh can handle, in theory, is 100 (97 is the most I have seen connected at once). When I have a power loss, they all try getting back Online at once, and many fail to Connect. At 3AM, manually turning things Off, or Resetting, is a hassle. If I am not home, it is impossible … I do not have any WiFi 6 or 7 Devices, but read how the Eero Max 7 could handle 200+ Devices, and transferring over from an old router was as simple as using the same name and same password as the old router. I have a couple dozen Echo Devices, and figured the Eero 7 would be a good fit, and future proof my Smart ecosystem. I unplugged my old Base Station and all 4 Subs. I plugged in the Max 7. Entered my old name and password, and waited … not one device transferred over?!?! I tried manually transferring devices (starting with my Samsung Phone) and it worked fine. I figured, I must be doing something wrong? I called Customer Service, and after 30 minutes of on and off Hold, I lost phone connection. I called back and spoke to someone else. After 2 hours, they told me it is impossible to transfer devices from my old Mesh System. ‘The Eero is too advanced’, and assured me they would transfer if I was upgrading from an Eero router, but ‘Samsung is a different Company’ (Duh!). Before purchasing, I read lots of reviews and watched every video I could find. Not one of them mentioned this?!?! I had to restart my old mesh system, because my entire house was now Offline. I slowly started adding Devices to the Eero 7, but after numerous days and numerous hours (over 200 Devices; each Brand has a different reset procedure). I decide to call Customer Service again; I can not be the only person having this problem?!?! Something must be wrong with the way I set it up or with the router. This time they spent 3 hours on the phone with me. Very patient and polite, but in the end, could not fix it. Now I have about 50 Devices (the ones that use the most Bandwidth) on the Eero 7. I figured if I can get Devices below 100 on my old Mesh, then I can run both, as a transition … but it is not working. Many devices are now going Offline (most notably, because I get Notifications, my Ring Security System and numerous Cams).I traded in an older echo Device, for an Echo Dot 5th Gen, hoping to extend the Eero Mesh. Although it is only 8’ from the Eero 7 (other side of a plaster wall), it repeatedly goes Offline and the devices Connected to it are dropped. If I unplug it, and plug it back in, it starts to work again. It is suppose to handle up to 10 5G Devices, but of the 8 5G Speakers in its room and adjoining bathroom, I have never seen more than 3 Connect at once. When something disconnects, it take ages to reconnect (see pic showing 0 Connected)Bottom Line … I spent days, dozens of hours, trying to get this to work. I am so deep down this Rabbit Hole, sending it back makes little sense. I am now thinking about buying another Max 7, because my plan of using newer Echo’s to increase the Mesh is totally unreliable. I tell myself, this will be the last router I need for years, and hopefully works perfectly once I get everything off my old router, but I would never had bought this had I known. Giving 2 Stars, because I like I can name the devices once they add (see pics). That way, I know which ‘Echo Dot 2nd Gen’ is currently Offline … LOL
