3392519 Dryer Thermal Fuse Replacement part by DR Quality Parts - Exact Fit for Whirlpool & Kenmore Dryers - PACK OF 2

Dryer spun but no heat. Research indicated thermal fuse was blown. Found it on my whirlpool dryer in back towards bottom next to blower and exhaust pipe, I took off 5 screws, removed the back of the dryer, two easy off plugs, one screw to remove the thermal fuse from the dryer frame,I tested it for continuity with an meter and found it was blown, I ordered this product, took I think 1 day to arrive, put new one back on with the same screw, plugged in the two wires EASY, put back on with the 5 screws ( yours may have more screws but easy to remove, plugged dryer in, and it worked like new. Watch a youtube video if you need more guidance. I know I saved a PILE of cash by doing this myself. You can too. Worth every penny and I got a spare in the package to boot just in case it happens again.

I came home from work one day my dryer would not work it would light up but it would not dry my clothes it wouldn’t turn on and my daughter looked some stuff up in the fuse happen to be one of the things that they said it could be and being one of the easiest we tried it and it worked. I couldn’t believe my daughter fixed the dryer. I thought I was going to have to spend quite a few hundred dollars on a new one. I was very pleased.

What's the primary requirement for a new fuse? That it is not already "blown". These fuses, unlike those from other companies that offer a 3 pack actually work. Amazing.One thing I would recommend to the Mfg, there is not identification on the part. This makes it harder the next time to identify what part is needed. Perhaps put the 3392519 number on it somewhere. I solved this by taping the old part to the inside of the dryer for the next time I go snooping for the reason it isn't working.Thanks for doing your job well, supplying a part that both fits like the original and actually works!

these generic thermal fuses fit and worked just like the original. the price for the 2 pack was cheaper than most of the single replacements.

4 star rather than 5 since its only been installed and running for about a month. No data on the lifetime of the part.

At least I can use my dryer again. We'll see how long it lasts.

These are exactly as described and fixed my dryer in minutes. My dryer stopped heating up while drying, insteat of calling a repair man I chose to change the fuses in my dryer. It saved me a bunch of money and fixed my dryer in minutes, I'm a little handy but I needed the dryer and I couldn't afford a repair man's bill so I took a chance and it paid off. I recommend you try these before giving up on your dryer!

Thermal fuse blew on our Maytag. Looked into a bunch on amazon and elsewhere, including OEM units, pulled the trigger on this one. At least externally it is an exact replica of the original fuse. Continuity checked out. Got 2 of them for a fraction of the price of an OEM one, a spare just in case, and 2 days shipped (the Sears that's still open around us would take a week or two to get it). Couldn't ask for more, great value.
