Good
Easy to set up, saves a lot of time, a bit pricey for a plastic tool but worth it.

Pleasantly surprised
I bought this to increase precision when cutting down sheet goods which I was finding extremely time consuming and inaccurate using my circular saw and home-made straight edge jig.Pros:- seems very accurate. As a test, I used it to cut five 8cm x 240cm strips from a sheet of 18mm ply. I cut the strips sequentially from the same side, the cut edge becoming the guide edge of the next strip. This meant any small error in width between the start and the end of the cut would be compounded by the final strip, and the ends would gradually become less and less square to the sides. All strips were exactly 8cm at the start and the end. The final strip cut was approximately 0.4mm away from square on the end. Compared to when I did this using the (crappy) guide rail that came with my Makita circular saw, or using the home made jig (on much shorter lengths), this is far superior. More than adequate for my needs.- feels pretty secure when the saw is in the shoe, and the shoe is also compatible with the kreg accu-cut track, if you have that, for cross-cuts.- I have yet to test the accuracy on wider cut strips, it might be that as the distance between the saw and the guide increases, there is the potential for more error in the width of the cut strips from beginning to end.Cons:- A little fiddly and awkward to set up, mainly due to the shape and weight of the circular saw.- wish it wasn’t plastic - aluminium would have been nicer.- would have preferred the saw to be attached to both the front and back of the shoe.In all, very pleased. Have now gone and got an accu-cut, as well!

good job jig
the plastic is high quality the ruler/rail is metal. importantly its in metric (mm/cm) for the UK market, the picture shows inches (I still purchased and thought I would add a sticky measurement tape on it). Remember to zero the rail to the blade and adjust the measurement window. lots of youtube videos on the set up

When the table saw is too small
8x4 sheets arrived for the photo install of a closet I told the wife I would build. Did the job perfectly. Look into buying a carrying handle too

Junk, like a child’s toy. Never again kreg
I have previously purchased the Kreg pocket hole system. Brilliant tool. Think they should have stopped there. This is the second saw guide tool from them and it’s absolutely terrible. It’s cheap plastic, I’m appalled at the quality of the product for the money they charge. I paid £57 for this, it’s a joke. Instructions aren’t very good. Watched a YouTube video to make sure I put it together properly. Saw came loose and damaged the guard at the first time of use. I’d have been better just burning the money I paid for it and cutting out the frustration. Wont try anymore Kreg products.
