But not so thick it's obnoxious. Ordered 2 grey ones. Nice pattern and I KNOW these will be able to handle my smoking hot LeCreuset pots. Recommend.

This is a very heavy weight piece that feels substantial and looks fabulous. The depth in the 'nubs' part of the design do present some cleaning challenges if there is a spill over - don't let it dry! I keep my grey color pad in the microwave to cushion against the glass plate - you can use it to pick up what you have heated if necessary - where the grey color is in compliment with the microwave materials.

Much bigger than I expected and almost too thick. It works most of the time but not always on the first try when it's a small jar because there's so much mat.It is also a decent trivet, though. I have not tried anything out of the oven on it yet, but I have used it for relatively hot pots a few minutes after I turned off the stove.

these are great. Easy to use and good grips. Washable silicone is brilliant
