After you get through the initial muscle work to set the stand up, it’s ideal and flexible on the sliding height to work standing or sitting.Don’t get too excited as it wobbles if you go wild on the keyboard but otherwise stable! Flattening it down again takes some force but I guess that’s the key for it holding my 15’6” laptop when working upright

Ich will auf meinem Walkingpad gehen und arbeiten gleichzeitig, und dafür kam es mir etwas wackelig vor.Die Verarbeitung und Optik ist aber sehr schön und macht was her.Fände es aber besser, wenn es etwas breiter wäre, die Fläche, wo der Lappy aufliegt, ist mir persönlich auch etwas schmal gewesen - habe aber auch einen großen Arbeitslaptop.

I currently own 3 laptop stands, they’re all traditional style in that they are made of a piece of tilted flat plastic housing (1” tall at front, 2” tall at back) with a cooling fan in the middle. When I see this adjustable style laptop stand that can raise the laptop high off desk surface, I wanted to try one out, so I picked this one.This Tounee adjustable stand arrived in a plain white box with plastic handle, very industrial looking, no fancy unboxing experience. It weights around 4.25 lbs. Initially, I was a little concerned that being this light, there could be a balance issue holding a laptop high up when it is in its stand-up mode, but turns out there is no issue at all, the stand holds my laptops sturdily, no problem whatsoever. I love the look of silver color aluminum that this stand is made of. The plate where the laptop sits on is padded on both left & right edges and the two extensions at the bottom that holds the laptop in place are also padded.I like the design of this laptop stand. When folded down with the laptop plate tilted, it works just like a traditional style laptop stand, about 1.25” off the desk surface at front, but unlike a traditional style stand, I can adjust the back to any height I want. When extended to the stand-up mode, I can work on the laptop while standing. I put the heaviest laptop I have, a 17” beast that weights 6.4 lbs. on the laptop plate and it handled it like that laptop weights nothing, I’m impressed.I like this adjustable laptop stand, it works exactly as advertise. Unfortunately, it isn’t perfect. There are a couple of things that kept me from giving it 5 stars. They are minor things, I would give it 4.5 stars, but there isn’t a 0.5 stepping in the Amazon star system, so… First thing is built quality. Overall, the built quality is good, but there is a minor flaw in the stand I received. The plastic trim piece under the plate where laptop sits (where you see 8 screws, see attached picture) is not rigidly attached, it is a little loose, so it makes this rattling sound when moving the stand. Maybe this is not a common occurrence, perhaps I just received one that happened to have this trim piece loose, it’s not a deal-breaker flaw, nor is the stand broken, so I’m not going to return it simply because of this loose trim piece, but it is annoying, it’s one of those things that once you noticed it, you can’t unnoticed it, kind of like when you hear a song and it stuck in your head… I guess this is more of a me problem, but still, I think this trim piece is supposed to be rigidly attached, not slightly loose like this. The second thing is how stiff the hinges are, it takes quite a bit of force to fold and unfold the stand. While it makes sense that the hinges may need to be stiff in order to handle the weight of a laptop to hold the stand steady, but still, I think it should be possible to design the hinges in such a way that makes it less stiff without sacrificing its ability to hold the stand straight while supporting the weight of a laptop. This is not an inexpensive laptop stand after all, Tounee should be able to design a better hinge for it, perhaps they will for the next version.All in all, I like this Tounee adjustable laptop stand, it does everything the description said it can do, I give it 4.5 stars, it is a keeper.

Love this! So much better than the last one I had. This one is sturdy and more flexible.
