Great light - a pain to set up in Alexa
The bulb (or light) itself is really good quality, the filament is attractive for an LED bulb. The Wiz Version 2 app is well laid out and easy enough to navigate, with some good settings for the bulb. The bulb can be set in varying shades of white from a soothing warm white to a very bright white light. There are also options in the Wiz app for pulsing light and other variations. The issue I had was connecting to the Alex app, which took a fair few attempts to get right. At first, the Alexa app needed a 9 digit code which just wasn't available in the Wiz app (only a 9 digit code). Anyway, after a while, I removed the 'integrations' from the Wiz app, started a new integration and it works fine now. Maybe just a rogue issue with me there, but overall I'm pleased, it's a good light bulb and hopefully it'll last a while.

Does the job nicely
It is not too difficult to sign up and ink to Alexa, and it works as expected. This is the first Wiz product I have purchased and I may well buy others in the future. Just a tad expensive, though.

Wiz: Great, Amazon: Not So
The bulbs themselves are great, they do exactly what they should when controlled from my phone.My issue, however is Amazon's incredibly poor judgement on when parcels will be delivered. Telling you it'll be there no later than 1145, then 1215, then 1245, and then, to top it all off "still arriving today". What am I supposed to do with that? Be forced to stay at home all afternoon just to wait for a parcel which may or may not get there? 15-30 mins late I can accept, but nearly 6 hours after initial delivery time?! It's ridiculous.

Wouldn't work out of the box and the replacement irreparably broke down after a week
When the bulb arrived I followed the instructions for setting it up to the letter and neither the Wiz app or the Alexa app would see it.I followed Wiz's instructions for resetting the bulb to put it in pairing mode. That did not work. I went on tech forums online and followed their advice - once again, nothing.It lit up when the lamp was turned on, but that's all it did. I paid for a light bulb that I could turn on and off, dim, brighten, change from warm to neutral, etc. I got a light bulb - which I already had.So I returned it and a new one was sent out. That was quick and easy to connect and add to my existing smart setup. And then it just stopped working after 10 days.I went through all the same troubleshooting guides, advice from tech support (which was awful - mostly AI chatbot doing triage by asking irrelevant questions that then got me put through to people who didn't understand my issues). I spent HOURS trying to add it back, to reset it to the factory settings, and in the end, I decided that the time wasted could be far better used by just getting up from my chair and turning the light off by hand.From what I've learned in forums, I am not the only person with this issue, and the general consensus seems to be "if it won't connect, don't waste your time trying to work it out - just return it and ask for your money back".So that's what I have done.I won't be using Wiz again. Life's too short.

Bulbs are grand, most of the time they work perfectly, though pairing can be a little hard. I've had several bulbs not pairing correctly and it took some fiddling with the app and bulbs to get them going. however once they are set up they work perfectly
