Great Dot
I give this sight 5 stars because it's everything Williams says it is. Low mount makes aiming just like using iron sights. Fit & finish, excellent, good clear glass, sharp reticle, easy install. It has manual on & off with an auto off after 6 hours as stated, so if you're wanting shake awake keep on looking.

It's basically useless
The concept is fantastic, this idea needs to be improved on. The current product has so many problems that I returned it. There's little nit picky stuff, but there big two that bring this to only 1 star is the horrendous battery life, and even worse, the sight does not stay on. These have a mandatory auto-shutoff after 6 hours, you can not disable this feature. There is no shake awake. The only thing you can do is push a button to turn it on. Even if you only hunt with this, you would have to remember to hit it again at lunch. There are 6 brightness settings, and the battery life I was quoted from Willams is 2,500 hours on brightness 3. To top it all off, this is a 100% made in China sight.It's a cool idea, but the guys a Williams really missed the mark badly. There's no reason in 2024 for a sight this price to not have shake awake, and battery lasting more than a year. And there was never any logical reason to force a product to shut off after 6 hours, what a terrible design decision that is.

Works well, looks good
Fit on my 500 fine, and looks pretty cool. I only with it had a solar recharge option, as the battery will eventually fail. I’ll carry a couple with me.

Great sight
Work as noted. Lowers sight to make for better check weld. I liked it so much I bought a second one.I have them on my big bore stopping fifles
