Excellent product for my coffee maker!The first time I began using this coffee maker cleaner I was very skeptical. I've already used this product twice, and after each use I immediately noticed a Big difference the very first time. My coffee maker began to make better tasting coffee, no harsh or any aftertaste with each pot of coffee made. When I used to use vinegar the process would take approximately 2 hours by rinse and repeat, and it was a painful process, now by using these tablets one per cleaning from start to finish etc. it only takes about 20-30 minutes, and the best part is not only does it clean my maker thoroughly, the taste of my coffee and it's freshness is top notch! 5 ✨✨✨✨✨!

Individually wrapped tablets which is nice. Just drop one tablet in the reservoir filled with water and press your clean cycle or descale. It dissolves in the water like an alka seltzer cleaning tablet. Looks like it cleans as shown by a couple of coffee grounds in discard water. Took off one star because The packaging could be better. The box doesn’t close once opened so you can’t store it upright unless you tape it shut.

The media could not be loaded. This is more to disinfect the interior water passages of the coffee pot to kill bacteria.I always start a (quarterly) cleaning by washing the pot by hand with dish soap and giving the entire coffee maker a good wipe down with a wet paper towel.Tablets are easy to use. Fill the water reservoir and drop in a tablet. It will bubble as it dissolves. Let sit for a bit to disinfect the water reservoir. Run about half of the water through then let it sit again for a bit to soak. Run it out. Then I run the hot water through the complete cycle as I'd think the tablet plus hot water would be a good bacteria killer. Then rinse out by running two cycles with fresh cool water.

the tablet fizzed right up when I threw it in the container holding the water. After I did the I drew water so the solution would go into the pumps, etc. Then after a few hours I drew more water and there were coffee grounds that came out so it did a good job. I had had a k cup from friendly's open up during the brew process and grounds went all over. I did another batch of fresh water through and finally no more coffee grounds. The price is inexpensive considering it will last for about a year. I had previously used clear vinegar but it just didn't seem to be cleaning like it should.
